Like a warm hug in a cup
Spring is almost around the corner and signs of it are starting to show here and there. I am particularly looking forward to the different magnolias blooming. We have some nice varieties in our area: white, dark pink, small and big. And today we saw the first ones starting to open.
Overall this weekend has been gray and rainy. A good opportunity to slow down, read a book and sip on this delicious hot chocolate.
Ingredients for two small cups;
- 2 Tbsp of tahini
- 2 Tbsp of cacao
- 1,5 cups of water
- 2-3 dates
- a pinch of Himayalan salt and cayenne
Blend all the ingredients in a high-speed blender. I used two dates but if you like it sweeter, you can use three. Then warm up the chocolate drink and pour into preheated cups.
